Late entry into Fiumicino

We had a very last minute need to stay overnight in Fiumicino. They accommodated us perfectly. With someone to greet us at our very late checkin to very lovely hostess who gave us breakfast the next morning. We hope to stay there again soon.

It’s was just ok expected more for what I paid

The hotel was just fine for being a Hilton , bit pricey for the hotel but the location made up for it. Too many stairs going into our room and the room was just ok. I was expecting more for what I paid… we got breakfast which was also ok but the service in the breakfast room they were nice and polite. The front desk weren’t that great. I honestly wouldn’t stay there again… I will try another hotel next time.

Basic Accommodation

This hotel was not as close to the airport as we would have liked. The cab ride from Rome airport is a flat rate of 35 euros which seems expensive in relation to the distance. The hotel offers airport transfer which we used to return to the airport. The cost was 25 euros. The vehicle was a large sized Mercedes SUV and was waiting for us. The hotel room was very basic. Towels were thin. The sheets were clean and the bed was fair. The area around the hotel is sketchy. We walked across the river where there were several restaurants. It was around 5pm so only one was open. Cielo Restaurant was nice and seemed out of the place for the area. The hotel is ok but I would not go back.

Great value!

I love this place – I'll definitely stay again, next time I have an overnight at FCO. The staff is wonderful: every person I met was friendly, professional, competent, efficient, etc. The rooms are newly renovated, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The shower in my room was luxurious. Breakfast was wonderful – much better than I expected. Lots of great choices: eggs, bacon, charcuterie, fresh baked pastries, cereals, fresh squeezed juices and a coffee bar with barista. The neighborhood is great, almost suburban: within 2 blocks of the hotel there are dining options, a Conad supermarket, and other shops. I had a little difficulty catching the shuttle from FCO to the hotel, but that's probably on me. The staff at the hotel was very helpful getting me there. Compared to the other choices near FCO, Rome Airport Hotel Fiumicino is a real bargain!
