This was our favorite place to stay during our 3 week tour of Florence, Tuscany, and Umbria! Bertina was so helpful with suggestions of towns for us to visit (we had a car) The room was clean, spacious and elegantly decorated. It’s a perfect place to stay to take day trips to various Tuscan towns. Breakfast was great and they have a full bar. We will be back!!!!

Perfection in Pienza

This was everything you could imagine for a stay in Tuscany. The entire staff was so accommodating and made sure that everything we wanted or needed was perfect. Farm to table meals were excellent with many local options to choose from. The property is absolutely beautiful no question about that it is around 5 km from the closest town. The only down side was the food. The menu offered limited options and after you arrived you don't want to drive anywhere. The food was not that tasteful and the portions extremely small.

Tenuta Santo Pietro was by far the best experience we have had in Toscana region. The hotel is quiet, has a historic feel, amazing food and is close to Montepuciano and the the neighboring towns of Val D'Orcia. Most of all the staff are extremely nice and friendly. We have stayed in a lot of resorts and hotels across the world and have never been treated as well as we were by Bertina (Manager). Bertina treated us (and most guests) like friends and was a delite to get to know. She would help us with anything we needed. Advice on where to visit in the area, or anything you needed during your stay. If I could rate this hotel for 6 or more starts I would. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Montepuciano.
