Our stay at Bellafer Collection Hotel & Resort in Playas de Rosarito was a mixed experience, balancing between some setbacks and pleasant moments.
We were informed that check-in was at 3 PM. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 5 PM, our room was not ready. After waiting for about 30 minutes, we finally received our room key. Despite this hiccup, we were eager to settle in and enjoy our stay.
After changing, we headed to the poolside area for some food and drinks. Although the service was slow, the quality of both the food and beverages made up for the wait. The pool, approximately 5 feet deep, is ideal for non-swimmers and casual lounging. The area also features two jacuzzis and plenty of lounging spots, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Later, when we returned to our room to shower, we noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the drainage. This was a minor inconvenience, but the overall room was nicely furnished and provided access to a terrace where we could hang out and enjoy the view.
For dinner, we opted to sit again poolside by the fireplace. The food was outstanding, making for a delightful dining experience.
Overall, our stay was okay, considering that the hotel is preparing for its grand opening. Once they iron out the initial kinks, I believe Bellafer Collection Hotel & Resort has the potential to offer a fantastic experience.
