Great Location!

Great location just north of Quay Street and the Latin Quarter. City parking lot right across the street.

In Galway for 3 days during a two week trip. Clean, convenient, just a little small when traveling with any luggage for a long trip

Great location to walk around Galway

This was perfect for our 2-night stay in Galway! Instructions were clear and we had no problems with the self-check-in kiosk; room was clean and well prepared for our visit. We chose a double bed plus twin bed room to have extra space (and in case one of us had a hard time sleeping after our long travels). We appreciated being within walking distance of the Latin Quarter, Spanish Arch, and Galway Cathedral. We always found parking in the city lot across the street. Would definitely stay here again!

Look good in the pictures

Room has strong smell like dirty gym Sock, or dirty mop water. Shower doesn’t drain water. Impossible to shower mover than 2-3 minutes before it overflows. Took about 1/2 hour for the water to disappear. Bed was nice. Other than the awful smell. The room looked nice. Left windows open with fan. It incredibly load at night with the windows open. They leave 2 packages of air plugs in the room.

It’s a basic kind of place that will meet your needs but provide few amenities beyond that.

Great location and value for Galway.

Check in was easy. Very convenient location just off the busy streets. Easy to walk to main tourist attractions. There was a portable AC unit which was nice but it wasn’t installed properly and which was funny. Still, glad to have it, made us much more comfortable. Bathroom had a funky smell but looked clean so maybe the smell was from outside, coming in through the window.

Room is spacious, modern, and well-designed. We never saw another person in the hotel, staff or guest, which was eerie. But virtual check-in and checkout was smooth, thanks to the clear instructions provided

The rooms were fine. What I didn’t like is that there was no staff on sight . Only a telephone number to call
Meg, 2-night trip

Good location, the thermostat was broken and the temperature was very high while we were trying to sleep.

Great location, nice decor

Nice, basic hotel that is close to everything. For my taste, the bed and pillow were too hard and sleep was not uncomfortable. The room is nicely decorated, but there is very limited space for anything. The bathroom has no shelf and just a small sink- so nowhere to put basic toiletries. The room had a strong sewer odor upon check-in. I called their emergency line and they were very responsive. My bigger concern is that they charge hotel rates, but offer no service. The facility is completely unstaffed. When there is a concern, there is no one to call, except their emergency line. We stayed three nights, and the ceramic coffee cups and drinking glasses were never changed. There is no mechanism to clean them, so they were most unpleasant by the third day. I didn’t feel it was worthy of a phone call to the “emergency“ line. Next time, for the same cost, I will stay at a hotel with service or a less expensive AirBnB.

The room was small but well equipped and the bed was comfortable. There was some noise from inside and outside the building but they provided earplugs so it was okay. The only negative point was the shower, there was only very hot water coming out, regardless of the temperature selection.
Angela, 1-night trip

The electronic check/in and no staff on hand was off-putting. The shower was difficult to control water temperature. Overall a nice place to stay
Kelly-Lynn, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Would give 0 stars if I could

With the walls being so thin, we could hear every door slam open and closed, all night long, every 5-10 minutes. This slamming was loud enough for it to make our door and walls shake consistently. No front desk service meant that a rowdy person started screaming and yelling around 23:00, and the police had to come drag him out shrieking almost an hour later. It was very hot, and while the hotel did provide two fans for use, only one worked. We could not open the window due to the screaming happening on the streets. Between the near constant door slamming and the late night disturbance and consequent arrest, we did not sleep.

The property smelled like such a strong floral perfume I had a headache as soon as we walked into the room.

Central Galway

The location was great for exploring Galway, central and walkable. There is a car park for hire just across from the building, which was very convenient. We didn’t realize the check-in was all automated (no staff onsite) so that took a little longer than expected as the required email wouldn’t load. Good to be aware of so you can have the booking code handy when you get there. Other than that, small but comfortable room with a great shower. Clean and well-appointed.

Loved the easy check-in! Accommodations were clean & comfortable. The decor of the place was modern and cool. Location could not be better. Within walking distance of many pubs, restaurants and sights. Only downside was lack of parking. Had to park across the bridge at the church parking lot and carry our bags a bit of a distance. But I know that’s a challenge in Galway. Everything else was great!

It was extremely hot in the room. There was on air conditioning just a portable fan. And the window only opens an inch. Way too hot to sleep in there. Thin walls too.
