The best Motel I’ve ever been to. Im amazed every thing worked and it was so clean. It felt like home…

Clean, Comfy, No Frills.

The Motel was a great spot to stay with easy access to Pinnacles National Park. It is definitely a minimalist space, but was clean and comfortable. There was a mini-fridge, clean towels, TV, and a foam mattress. They offer coffee and pastries in the office for breakfast.

Great hotel in Soledad, great price! Starbucks and grocery store right around the corner. Hotel was updated, nice bed, very clean and safe.

Pleasant surprise

We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort. We've stayed in many motels so we didn't have high expectations for this place. They had firm, foam mattresses, wood looking floors (im weary of carpets in motels) snd it looked recently renovated. The sink is a bit small, but it had a fridge and microwave. Its within walking distance to a variety of food places

2 nights stay

Stay was nice in room 17 with some minor issues: light fixtures need upgrading, towels were too small- wont cover body entirely lol.. tv remote not working, and ref door wont stick so it’s not cooling my water bottles. Other than that, place is very clean, friendly staff, and felt secured enough for the price.. worth staying. Thank you!

We needed to put a little family up for a few nights and the staff was very helpful.

6/10 Good

ok for the price & middle of the week

First the good: the location is great for access to pinnacles NP, West side; staff was nice, and it was clean. Not so good: the property is in need of an upgrade, such as sealing around the doors to stop drafts, lighting (very bad, flickering fixtures etc) and toilet (not seated properly). There is also a design problem if you are on first floor and guests are staying above you, in which case you are probably going to hear noise. There’s also some street noise, especially from boom cars in the evening.

Good

The young lady at the desk was kind and the room was well kept. The only thing I didn’t care for was the smell of room spray, like cheap men’s cologne and the pillows were plastic under pillow case.

Good stay, couple of small faults

Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were clean and overall OK Heater was the noisiest I’ve ever experienced. Thought it was just our room heater, but family members next door was just as loud Bed was very uncomfortable, woke several times during the night due to the hardness of it Overall it was a good stay though

I requested a handicap room by message and my message was never answered. When I called the place, I was informed that their room for handicapped people was being repaired.
Gerardo, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was a nice clean, comfortable place to sleep and the staff were helpful. The down side was that they had no ice and the breakfast on weekends only was very limited.
Tracy, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The space was clean and well-maintained, free of cables, which contributed to a tidy atmosphere. Additionally, offering complimentary Wi-Fi enhanced the overall experience and connectivity for everyone.
Albert, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Compared to motel six it’ was safe no loud music or crazy people partying at night. The room was cold good thing it had a heater the bed was bad very hard my back still hurts 5 days later the fridge did not work

Decor was outdated but clean and wood floors, which was a big plus because carpets usually carry a lot of dust

Close proximity to Pinnacles west entrance. The night we stayed, the police raided the unit downstairs. Because of this, it didn’t feel like a safe place to stay. It’s not the motels fault.
Peter, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Bad HVAC, grimy toilet .. and drive-by shootings!

The toilet seat was covered in some sort of black grime when we arrived in the room... I had to clean it myself. The room was a bit cold, so I turned on the heater, but it is an ancient wall unit that is extremely loud, and doesn't have a thermostat. The pillows were also terrible (though the mattress was not bad.) About an hour after being in the room, we heard a bunch of loud pops outside. It sounded like gunfire, so I ran to the window to see what was going on, then several cop cars whizzed past. Sure enough, there was a drive-by shooting or something (nobody was hit, but two cars were shot up in front of a home.)
