My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. The room is always spacious and very clean. The couch in the room is very convenient. The beds are also very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful if we need anything. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the St. James, MO area.

We had trouble checking in. They made us pay when we had paid in advance. Then refunded the wrong person. The manager told us we would have to pay each other to resolve. Just messy. The rooms had bugs flying out of the drains and a sewer smell was in two bathrooms. Beds were very hard. For $75 I would still expect no bugs. Other than the initial check in issue the staff was very nice.

Several little flaws, but overall it provided a safe feeling place for our overnight stop and we had no issues with checking in with our dog. Provuded first floor pet friendly accommodation but outer area was lacking a designated area for pets to walk.
