Wonderful place. It was close enough to the main road to walk and enjoy the beach front, but just enough away from the busy street to be calm and quiet. The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and clean. And it really is a smoke free place - which my asthmatic mate appreciated.

Very clean hotel and helpful staff. The indoor pool was spotless with a shower nearby. We also played table tennis in the game room. The hotel was about one block from the main street in Sister Bay and very walkable. I would stay there again.

Close to Cherry Drop

The Birchwood Lodge was a very nice hotel, clean and well kept. We were there for New Years Eve and I wanted a hotel close to where the cherry was going to drop. The Birchwood Lodge was walking distance to the Cherry Drop on December 31. As I checked out, I notified the desk agent that they should check the switches and light bulbs. I think some lights were burned out. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay! Very comfortable.

Wonderful stay! The rooms have jacuzzi,, fireplace, most comfortable beds, fridge, microwave. Pool is warm, hot tub perfect temperature and sauna too. Few min from Sister Bay restairants and shops. Just wow!
