Beautiful place for a couple.

Enjoyed our overnight stay here. Absolutely beautiful design. Convenient location though it could really benefit from a sign near the road. Took us a few attempts to locate the entrance in the dark but once we did they whole property was a lovely surprise of beautiful design. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows! American and Dutch couple! Fairly private as well which was nice.

Bauma - an excellent boutique hotel in La Fortuna

What a fantastic hotel. Truly enjoyed our stay at Bauma. The grounds and incredibly well maintained and the hotel is clean and beautifully constructed and maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were super responsive via WhatsApp from the moment we booked throughout our stay. The location is super convenient and safe!!

Beautiful facilities, relaxing atmosphere, modern decor, comfortable beds, and great location. This was much nicer than even the most expensive hotels we have stayed in. You get a feeling of privacy, which you never have in a hotel.

The property feels brand new. It has the feel of a very nice AirBNB without any of the drawbacks you usually see these days. BAUMA has excellent housekeeping and responsive service for whatever issues arise. The villa was comfortable and spacious. The private pool was large enough for our family of four to enjoy every evening with Arenal peeking just past the greenery privacy walls. The design and utility of the space is perfect. My kids preferred the hotel to most activities we did in the Fortuna/Arenal area.

Beautiful minimalistic Gem

Very comfortable, the house has great looks and very modern. The parking was a little tight, but it’s sufficient for the apartment complex. Location is a little far from town, but is great for the ones that want to have their own peaceful retreat. The amenities of the place were really nice, made it our rainy visit very pleasant.

Great place!

We took a chance on a new, mostly unreviewed place and didn’t regret it. Beautiful spot. We booked a Villa, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable, the room was incredibly clean, and any questions/needs you have are taken care of with a WhatsApp message. It’s an easy 5 minute drive into town for meals, and there is a small grocery store right down the street. Couldn’t ask for a better location.

Beautiful property! Stayed in the villa with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Private parking lot, nice staff, modern decor with lovely furnishings (inside and out), pool and landscaping, bonus washer/dryer in unit. Great for two couples or family. This property is brand new, lots of space and work station as well. Bathroom was large and spacious with constant hot water. View of the volcano on a clear day from the rooftop. Easily accessible to town with uber, and only a few minute drive. Check in and out was easy with great communication.

We have stayed at multiple places in Costa Rica over the last month. This one was beyond our favorite. So beautiful well thought out and laid out. Love getting up in the morning and having a hot tub and then having another one before bed huge shower with great water pressure. Super comfy beds, cool walk up balconies.. yes plural! Awesome coffee and chocolate tour right across the street and close to restaurants grocery store and Massage. Can I please move in and live here full-time?

Loved it! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was perfect. Each unit has outdoor areas to hang out including a private patio with a hot tub. The views from the roof top sitting areas are breathtaking. It was close to restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and responds quickly. We will be back!!
