Our stay at Matilda Motel was perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hosts & other staff were lovely, making sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The pool area was great to relax in also. We would recommend Matilda Motel for all this and also because of its handy location.

Comfortable and basic

The staff at Matilda were fab, very helpful and attentive. When I needed extra nights due to the cyclone affecting my plans, they were very accommodating and I even got to stay on the same room. Overall, the room was comfortable and satisfied my needs. I felt it was overpriced due to it being rather rundown and in need of updating, plus the pool was unusable (it was very dirty and had the pool hoover (or something) in it) which was one of the main reasons I booked this motel.
