The hotel was a great value. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, there was ample space to put our stuff. There was no AC in out rooms, but the windows opened and kept the temperature pleasant-to-cool. The frint desk staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was wonderful with so many choices.

A great hotel for a low price. Anna has all the necessary services, including a buffee breakfast, without wasting money on luxuries you won't use. Perfect location in the heart of Helsinki, access to any where via the 10 and 3 trams.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Not the most up to date decor but had all necessary facilities - wifi, hairdryer, decent breakfast. Best thing in the bathroom was the heated towel rail so your towel was always warm and dry. I only stayed one night, but it would be very handy if you were there for longer and wanted to wash and dry some clothes!

This was a lovely, old hotel, situated conveniently near to the city centre. It offers very good value for money and the staff are very hospitable. If a comfortable bed and a good night's sleep is exactly what you need, then this is the hotel for you. Breakfast is included, well stocked and sets you up for the day. Would we stay again? The hotel has a great location for exploring the town. The family room was in 7th floor with the lift only going to 6th floor. A bit worn and old room but quiet and comfy beds. There was a fridge and a microwave oven in the room but no proper table for eating and only 3 chairs. The room got very hot as it was hot outside. Amazingly, there are no light-blocking curtains on the windows so the rooms get very bright at 4am. We stayed for 4 nights. The hand soap finished the second day and was not refilled during the stay. The breakfast was average but no Karelian pies were served which was a bit of a shame. Overall, quite comfortable but some room for improvement. Some small improvements would work wonders at this hotel.

I felt very comfortable at Hotel Anna. The ladies at reception were very friendly and helpful. Also to teach me a few words in Finnish. :-) The hotel has its flair and the room was very quiet and clean. I would spend a few days in Helsinki at Hotel Anna again anytime. Breakfast was also perfectly adequate. Although I don't really eat breakfast, I was in the breakfast room on the 2nd floor a few times and was very satisfied. The sauna is on the same floor. Maybe I will visit it next time. :-) Some channels did not work on the TV. But who watches TV when there is so much to discover? Well, I did watch a bit of Finnish television. It's the same in every country. Commercials, commercials, commercials. :-) Helsinki is definitely worth a visit and Hotel Anna is a good starting point for exploring the city.
