Very spacious room. Accommodating - allowed us to store baggage while we did a 5-day trek. Eclectic decor - mixing modern and historic details. Great location. Offered us a box lunch when we had to check out very early in the morning before breakfast was served.

If you are looking for a Hotel in Cusco, we stayed at La Llave and I highly recommend it. A stunning historical building with a beautiful spacious room. Daily breakfast included fruits, breads, cheese, meat, avocado, and made to order eggs. Juices, tea & coffee. The staff was lovely and always right there to help in any way. It was very central - just blocks away from the main plaza and all of the sites. Very reasonable price. What a gem!

It is a beautiful building but really needs some work on a few key issues 1. Internet upstairs in our room was terrible. 2. Shower leaked 3. Room was cold, I know it's Cusco but even so. 4. Staff were friendly but really need some additional training. 5. Room skylight needs a curtain On the plus side 1. Water pressure was good 2. Great location 3. Good breakfast 4. Lovely decoration

I really enjoyed my stay here, got a great price on a suite and everything was clean and tidy. Staff couldn't have been more attentive. Breakfast was basic but adequate for the price. There is some road noise but is relatively quiet for Cusco, bit of a dirty drain smell in the bathroom too but not overbearing. May well book a couple more nights to end my stay!

La Llave is the perfect place to stay in Cusco. Close to the centre, close to restaurants, and also very close to good laundry services. Added benefit - it is quiet. Loved the courtyard and the warm showers. Clean rooms, and excellent helpful staff top off this hotel. Special kudos to Julie and Alan who work at the hotel.

I wanted a 'traditional' style of hotel for our stay in Cusco and this was a good choice. The staff are sweet and attentive and the location is great. My room was huge and we'll equipped, if not a little cold. They did provide a heater though, which other hotels have not. The only downside, is the paper thin walls where the regular beep beep beeps of traffic can be heard all day and all night.

Small hotel (6 rooms) in an old house. Excellent ubication, 3 minutes away from Plaza de Armas. Very friendly staff. Breakfast starts at 7 am, but you can ask them to start earlier if your tour starts before this time. For 6 am tours, they prepare the breakfast in advance. for 4 am tours, they give you a box lunch. Very recomendable.

They were so attentive, caring with my kids and very service oriented. My kid got sick from altitude and they offered me to bring a doctor. That I would never forget, they helped me with a tour and showed me the property. Later I met Alan who I think is the manager of the hotel who comes up with real good dining recommendations since I was heading to Aguas Calientes. The room I booked was super spacious, the beds were huge and my bathroom has a jacuzzi which was fully working. My kids an I enjoyed so much our stay at La Llave. I would definitely come back and I would highly recommend to stay if you ever come to Cuzco! It’s only three blocks away from the main Plaza
