Perfect place for a couple! Romantic setting by the lake, ferry boat stop right in front, and an awesome breakfast spread every morning. Peter and Shiva were very helpful and always made us feel at home… definitely well-recommended and will book again on next Swiss trip!

This place is wonderful!! The breakfast is out of this world and to open the French doors in the room and enjoy the sound of the lake is serene. You must stay here! The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake that are both serene and awe-inspiring. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the water was a magical experience and swimming in the lake after a long day of hiking was the highlight of our trip. The customer service was exceptional. The hosts went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable; they were friendly, professional and always available to assist with questions/requests. We also loved the varied breakfast selection (which was free) and ordered delicious sandwiches and drinks from their menu in the evenings.

Amazing beautiful Lake front property with over 400 years of history. Family run for the past 150 years. amazing staff and the owners will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and right at home. The view of the lake is incredible and so is the property. We needed to start our vacation with a very quiet but beautiful spot. Hotel Seeburg was perfect for this. They serve a fabulous breakfast and 2 restaurants are within walking distance. The train is only a 8 minute walk up the steps behind the hotel. The boat picks up right behind the hotel which was so convenient. I would recommend when arriving to get off at Interlaken Ost station and taking a taxi to the hotel. The station in Ringgenberg is so tiny that there are no taxis in town.

The owners were fantastic and went out of their way to take care of us. We had lost luggage with quite a delay and when it arrived they brought it directly to our room at 8:30 in the evening. These people work ALL DAY to provide excellent service. The location was great as it was quiet and BEAUTIFUL! So much better than staying in one of the large, touristy cities.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this quiet, peaceful, historic hotel. We particularly liked the beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. Although it was too chilly for us to use it, their patio dining right next to the lake was gorgeous. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh, fried eggs and smoked salmon. Our room was very clean and spacious and our bed comfortable. It could use some updating of the carpet and decor. We were lucky enough to arrive at the hotel by boat, which dropped us right at the front door of the hotel. It is a bit of a hike uphill to get to the bus stop, but it is a pretty hike! We would recommend staying at this hotel.
