The staff are the hotel’s saving grace—friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive. The location is unbeatable: steps from the beach, bars, and the lively Kuta scene (though the noise can be relentless).
Unfortunately, the rooms feel stuck in the late‑80s/early‑90s. The mattress is dented, bedding stained, only one nightstand with no bedside power outlet, and both the armchair and office chair are darkened and dirty. The bathroom’s shower overflows at the slightest touch, and overall wear and tear is evident.
Bottom line: great service and prime location, but the facilities are far below a true five‑star standard. If you can tolerate dated, poorly maintained rooms, it works as a convenient, noisy base for a night before a flight.
