no fridge, not enough hot water for tub

i should have checked as there are a number of reviews that mentioned this but the “suite” has no fridge. this seems to be standard at almost all hotels. having a bathtub was nice but not enough hot water to really use it well.

Worth the money

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Room was very spacious and the shower was huge with lots of water pressure. On-site parking was a plus. Only cons were the lack of storage as there was only one tiny drawer and another piece of furniture with 2 shelves and a cabinet with a door to store your things. Other con was there were no hand towels in the room. Only 2 bath towels and a floor towel. But for what we paid it was worth it.

It was a basic nice clean hotel. No phone in the room if you need anything. No coffee in the room. Only one bottle of water. They did have snacks they charged for. Glad to have them!!

There was nothing to complain about this hotel. The rooms are really big, spacious and comfortable, well lit and clean. And despite the heat of Merida we never suffered. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. A lot better than bigger name hotels in the city. And the staff was really helpful and attentive. All in all the best stay I’ve had

Hotel MID Project was a bit quirky, but all in all, clean and great spacious value for money. My "suite", all of $48US, was actually just a huge king bedded room, but featured a mammoth five-fixture bathroom area, with wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling travertine, a jetted soaking tub, and separate shower. Bed firm, room quiet midweek. Pool area was neat as well. Staff is panned in some reviews, but I found front desk agent helpful and hard working. Biggest quibble: Room had no hair dryer, so I had to leave my driver's license with front desk to get one. Location is on west side of historic center, about a 30 minute walk from Cathedral through a very pleasant residential area with some businesses. Very convenient to airport, as morning Uber ride to terminal took 11 minutes straight shot down main avenue. As Merida hotels have gotten pricey, this might be a nice value alternative for many travelers.

The toilet would run water after each flush. Could not figure out how to call the front desk so you had to walk down to complain. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and water wouldnt run. The toilet paper holder was broken. It was a very nice room, the details werent great.
