Really interesting history around the town and in the hotel. It is worth it to book a suite, and once there ask about the different travelers through history who have stayed there. They even have an Elvis room.

Our trip was short but memorable. We got a tour of this historic hotel and enjoyed learning about its history including being in the original phone booth. The room was fresh, clean, and relaxing with easy access to the elevator. The hotel was walking distance to the square, restaurants, and shopping. We will be back again.

Stayed here for the Come and Take Festival. Love the history aspect of this hotel and Maggie at the front desk was very welcoming and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Suggestions would include coasters to protect the furniture, either plastic or real drinking glasses, bottled water available in the room, would also be nice to have wine or Prosecco available for purchase along with a small charcuterie board. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gonzales.

Very well maintained Historical Hotel. Clean and vintage style rooms. Manager was nice and accommodating. Patriot Coffee was so good! Kids and hubby loved the blueberry muffins and bananas in the morning. We will definitely be back!

The manager was very friendly and easy to do business with. We booked for 3 nights and only got to stay 1 night do to some family issues. She was able to refund the remaining nights with no problems. The hotel was very cool with a lot of interesting history.

Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel is great and it is a quaint historic building just wasn't comfortable not having any hotel staff on premises from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. Yes they were available by texting or calling but if emergencies came up nobody was there
