The hotel entrance was lovely, it wasn’t until u went to the room an they where very dated could do with a re-vamp with most uncomfortable beds ever like you was sleeping on a board so had the worse nights sleep. Not much to do in the area not many places to dine out.

Lovely staff. I got a late check out for£25 extra which was amazing after a night out. The hotel is really lovely. By a gorgeous lake. Nothing was too much for the staff. I was given an extra blanket on request. I would not hesitate to recommended this hotel with lovely country pubs a walk or uber away. Thankyou. Amelia Jones

At the check in desk there was no record of our reservation so we had to wait about 30 minutes until it was sorted out. Check in staff were friendly but everything seemed very slow. We’d booked a suite which we didn’t realise was one of the cottages/lodges rather than the main hotel which was a bit disappointing. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable but despite it being a hot day, the room/cottage was absolutely freezing so remember to put the heating on! Restaurant was great, really lovely food and excellent service. Pool are looks a bit tired and the spa isn’t finished yet despite us being told it was done

Stayed in the hotel as we were attending a function there. The hotel was lovely could not fault it.
The function suit on the other hand was absolutely freezing, which ruined the evening.

The dinner service on Saturday was terrible. Our food took an hour to arrive at the table and that too after multiple chases. Drinks took about 45 mins to arrive at the table. The food wasnt seasoned and flavour to what we ordered. On the contrary, the dinner was good on Friday. So very inconsistent service. The housekeeping did not clean the room and when we reported at the reception, they said that "the hotel was fully booked so maybe a few rooms werent cleaned". There were some construction works ongoing which caused the access from inside the hotel to the swimming pool blocked. So, had to walk around the back of the property.

I woke at 2am to find water pouring through the light fitting in the room. Such a huge fire risk. I had to walk down to reception and speak to night staff. Then back to room to
Show problem, then carry my things back downstairs to new room. The room was noisy with passing staff so I did not sleep again. Reception were not willing to help despite calling them twice. Complaint and request for Health & Safety executive to check all tons will now follow. Why is there such dreadful customer service in this hotel.

Lovely hotel with nightclub next door. Very convenient
Only problem was water was cut off in the night and didn't get put back on. Nobody seemed to care. No apology. No compensation. It was very unhygienic and very inconvenient

I booked here purely because of its location and wasn't expecting anything much but was blown away by the size of the room, it's cleanliness, it's modern decor, the gym, and the spa. For the price I cannot believe it!

Hotel is not up to usual Radisdon standards at all. Staff were great , hotel is tired and needing a serious refurbishment. Stayed in a junior suite , bed comfy but no fridge/mini bar in room, no vanity unit, no mirror in reaching distance of a plug to do hair. Stark room really not up to junior suite standard expected. Breakfast was terrible, arrived at 9.15 (45 mins before end of service) and they had run out of most foods. No pastries, only sliced bread for toast (supermarket sliced bread ) very driee up looking sliced cheese and cheap ham on continental breakfast selection. No option for cooked breakfasts other than what was sitting on hot plate. Very very disappointed

Had a great stay. The staff are all great. I got the sense that many of the staff are quite new - but they are all really helpful and kind.
The restaurant and bar are also really good. The rooms are clean and well appointed and modern.
I will definitely come back.
