This property had all the amenities I needed. A fridge, powerful AC, hot shower, comfortable bed, etc. The only thing I didn't like was the thin windows. My room was facing a busy street, thus it got very noisy during heavy traffic.

Overall, Suites Reforma provides an excellent value! The price was so low, it was amazing. The hotel gets high marks for cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. Best of all, the showers had plenty of hot water. They were excellent! But there was a lot of traffic noise from the street, and the hotel is very basic. It's great for one or two nights. But it is not a great place for a long stay.

For the low price, the room was very nice. The microwave, fridge and coffee maker were well used. The immediate area seems safe but doesn't look great. However, within a short walk, is the central area of Merida, with attractive mansions and conveniences, like Starbucks and a large Walmart with a large grocery area. The hotel itself offers little by way of sound insulation, either from the interior halls or the surrounding neighbourhood. Ear plugs or some sort of white noise could help. Overall, the hotel is a very good value, and the other guests were quiet and polite.
