Amazing stay, clean throughout with lots of things to do on site and walkable places nearby. Bus stop at bottom of the road takes you into centre of city frequently. Restaurants cheaper off site but expected , staff friendly and helpful. Could not recommend more

Quiet and relaxing close to Pula

We stayed here for 4 nights whilst exploring Pula and Istria. It was a perfect location and a short bus trip into city centre. Also plenty of parking for our car we hired for trips around Istria. The pool area is lovely with amazing views perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the sites. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the resort to choose from however we opted to venture into Puls which was only 15 minutes by bus away. Would definitely stay again for a holiday on the resort, it was so quiet and relaxing.

An amazing resort area 10 minutes from old town Pula. We booked an apartment style room which was clean, spacious and all have a balcony. Tons of restaurants, cafes, shops, a grocery store all in short walking distance. Two large pools overlooking the sea with plenty of seating and beautiful walkways and paths to take you to the many beaches.

This Park Plaza Verudela property was amazing with sea views. Rooms are clean and new with everything you need in kitchen. Has many great restaurants to eat at and shops including a grocery store. The sea is beautiful with areas to sit and sunbathe and a lot of aqua activities for kids and adults a 5 star hotel.

Clean and relaxed

We were self catering and our accommodation had a bedroom and the sofa in the kitchen/lounge area turned into a bed. There was a balcony too with a view. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom too. The supermarket on the site is handy and very useful. The scenery is fabulous. There are several beach areas to choose from and several cafe restaurants. We did not visit the pools preferring the sea. This was a very clean, quiet (we stayed 1-3 Sept) and relaxed complex that I would recommend.

The property is set in a very large complex, close to hotels and apartments that were part of the same group. Public buses to Pula, every 20 mins and easy onward transport around the area and to airport. Pros - pool area clean, cons - quite a few broken sunbeds Pros - 2 bed, 1 bedroom accommodation had clean showers, water always hot. Cons - no extractor fan and a window, only openable for those 6ft . Stairs to bedroom steep - bathroom downstairs. Site generally well maintained but some poorly lit stair wells. Enjoyed our stay and the area but chipped crockery and missing kitchen items all contributed to feeling of property being a little tired.

Really enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza Verudela. The staff at reception were extremely accommodating. We asked a lot of questions and they were helpful with information regarding transport and locations. We were given a beautiful room with a pool view, the balcony directly overlooked a green hill with trees. Really calming and serene. Room service everyday did a quick tidy up of the room. They provide a secure luggage storage facility and luggage drop-off to the rooms. We went in April and the weather was still too cold for a dip in the outdoor pool though it was beautiful to walk by. There’s access to a rocky beach from within the resort with stunning views.

Overall we loved staying here. Really well kept property. Cons: every night bugs appeared coming inside through the window crack and large amount of mouse droppings on the balcony floor and table as a surprise every morning. The kitchen was well equipped. The king size bed was rock hard; wish it had a pad on. The kitchen chairs had metal legs and they were super loud when you moved them… they also stuck out in the back and we kept tripping over them multiple times; almost landed on the floor. There is a grocery store conveniently on the property but prepare to pay inflated prices. Having said all this, I would definitely go back; next time probably would stay in the hotel vs apartments.

Lovely weeks stay!

We have just returned home from this hotel and I must say for the price I was really impressed. The complex is clean and all the staff are friendly. A variety of restaurants but they do all serve similar food but that wasn’t an issue for us. They cater for all tastes even fussy eaters which we needed. The shop is somewhat expensive but that is to be expected on a complex like this. The rooms are comfortable and our self catering apartment was well equipped. Cleaning came in every morning. The stairs are steep so might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. No air con in the smaller room but found if my son slept with the door open, and the air con on downstairs then it filtered up to his room adequately. Our balcony was small, others where bigger but again wasn’t an issue for our party. The pool area is nice, the pool doesn’t feel busy even when all the beds are full. I’d happily come back here again.

We stayed in a studio apartment. Size was good, very clean, and small kitchenette functional with the necessary utensils. Sofa bed was very pointless, super comfy, much more than anticipated but you couldn’t fold it away…. And why would you? Just put a proper bed in! Good shower. Rooms cleaned daily but no replenished amenities e.g shampoo, moisturiser etc. No iron in room despite website clearly stating there was. Was told at reception this is for safety- that’s a joke, every hotel I’ve ever been to has an iron in the room! Must be for insurance… no communal ironing room. They wanted nearly €3 per shirt to iron. Rip off. Lovely resort feel with 3 hotels, sculpted grounds to walk around and some great sunset view points but evening entertainment severely lacking. There was barely anything and the whole place went quite approx 10pm. Nothing to do. Only places to go were the hotels and these were very expensive to drink in! €12 a cocktail! Ouch. Sunbeds we’re free to use but if you wanted one of the nice loungers by the sea, that was €20 per day for 2 people! Worth it a few days but cost soon adds up. Even the kids slide you had to pay for! Just felt like every opportunity to take money from you they would! Evening entertainment severely lacking, nothing advertised, if you were lucky you might catch a pianist or a band in one of the hotels but you’d just have to stumble across it. Very few affordable eating and drinking spots across the resort.
