It is a very lovely and charming hotel! The bed is very comfortable and warm. The service was great and we were allowed to make adjustments on the menu during our breakfast. Plus, it is a short walk from the Brontë Parsonage Museum. The only downside is the ceiling in the bathroom which is very low and also having to carry our luggage throughout the stairs. But I guess this happens all over England. Nonetheless, I recommend it!

Very nice place to stay, we had the Pears room. It had a great view and the bed was very comfortable. Only slight negatives lots of stairs and if you are tall you would struggle on the window side of the room. Would love to stay again.

Parking around the corner in grounds of local pub caused an element of uncertainty. Otherwise a good experience.

Great for couples, has a feel of by-gone times, very handy for those who love Bronte history as it's within walking distance. good breakfast. unique place to stay. Watch out for the Museum as it's closed on Monday's and Tuesday's

The building looked great. Inside it clearly needed some investment to restore and make the most of the original features. The bedroom was okay but it looked like there was still me damp in the bathroom.

Interesting and fun location on the main historic street. Breakfast was ok, but no other food service. Parking offsite at an additional charge. Rooms a bit tired and old fashioned. A bit overpriced for what it is. All in all, ok.

Room had cobwebs in bedroom and bathroom. Shower curtain was black at bottom. Old furniture needs a good clean . Hole in pillowcase.
No lighting working in room for breakfast.
Apart from a person checking us in, as we left, no one asked if our stay had been ok . Told to leave key in room.
Breakfast adequate.
This place needs a proper clean overall and maintenance of areas.
Glad we only had one night there.

Could be a really nice place but at the moment it is a shocking hotel. Dropping to bits in the room we had. Just as though it has been thrown together. Would not stay again.

The team were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Some details I think would really raise the profile of the property.
A small welcome letter in the room with information such as Wi-Fi connection would be helpful
My breakfast table had been laid but not cleaned on one morning
My toilet Seat was broken through out my 3 day stay

Went to check in at 3pm and the doors were closed. Didnt have to wait long for the doors to be answered but it felt unorganised.
The room was very dirty, mainly dust and bedside tables and furniture sticky.
Charged for 2 nights parking at the end of our stay and we only stayed one night.
The dining room was very clean and the breakfast and service in the morning was lovely.
