Michael, 2-night trip

Nice spacious and comfortable. Not cheap though. And the early morning fire alarm was an effective wake up call. The grounds are attractive and it has a good seaniew
Richard, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A great hotel with plenty of character. The terrace outside was a great place for an evening drink is that late summer sunshine. As with many old hotels the heating was not quite up to scratch. What was disappointing was that when I asked for a room heater the only thing that was supplied was a tiny 650W heater. It would have required something 4 times as powerful to make any impact on the large edwardian bedroom. Subsequently the bedroom was cold in the evening.

A restful stay

Enjoyable 3 night stay in this old but very well maintained hotel which is situated in a quiet position overlooking the sea.
3-night trip

8/10 Very good

A lovely old world/old school hotel. You start to chill and relax the moment you arrive. The slight disappointment, and the Sea Marge is not alone in this, is that some effort and consideration is put in to the in-room tea selection but for those us who drink coffee we get instant Nescafe sachets. It's such a disappointment when all that needs to happen is a couple of Taylors Coffee Bags being made available. That said, it didn't distract from the great views and the friendly bar staff.
