A real Hotel!

The Bern Hotel in Tallin, is one of my best experiences during my travelling to different countries during my life, regarding it's price. It has a very friendly atmosphere, nice and kind staff, excellent location, exactly in the border of old town and modern part, near to golf of Finn with clean, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. I suggest it by sure and will come here again and again.

Tucked away on the Edge of the Old Town, I enjoyed my stay here. It’s approximately 10 mins walk from the Port so handy if you want to do a Day trip to Helsinki

For the price and location, it's excellent. It's very clean. Has friendly staff. Even though it's in a very old building, there no musty smells. There are nice eateries and a supermarket across the street. Old town is within a couple of minutes by foot. I'd just replace the towels.

The Bern Hotel has a nice blend of modern and retro in its style, and everything was in decent condition and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms facing the yard are quiet with no traffic noise, from what i could tell. The lift is good to have, and breakfast is generous, homely with plenty of variety. It is good value for price paid. Breakfast is 8am till 11am.

Good Value, Great Location

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel that is a good value just steps from Old Town and near public transport. The rooms aren’t huge or fancy, but they have all the amenities you need and the staff is helpful and friendly. I’d stay here again if I ever return to Tallinn.

In the old walled town. The trees in the courtyard were blooming. We could see them from our tiny room. We had everything needed, just very cramped and unattractive. The bed sunk in the middle. Could not get a good night's rest.

Could have been more modern. not a fan of the rugs because it felt dirty. good location, would come back here but its just average. Price was very high compared to what I got. paid close to 100 when most other nights its 40 and under.

Great hotel next to Tallinn Old Town. This place is in a marvellous location. Comfortable accommodation and very pleasant staff. The bed was comfortable and the room, which was well equipped, included a kettle, hairdryer, towels, a small but adequate fridge and a good bathroom in the sense that it contained everything we needed, such as shampoo, body wash, conditioner and tissues. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Superb.

Excellent place to stay for exploring

We were so surprised with how lovely this hotel was, from the minute we walked through the doors, to when we left. The staff on reception made checking in so easy taking only minutes. The room was so warm and cosy having everything we needed, even shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer, tea and kettle. We were so comfortable in our room and it was so close to the old town only minutes to get into the centre, ideal for exploring both old town and the newer shopping centres. Check out time was great, as we relaxed in the room right up until then, then checked out and kept our bag at the hotel so we could have another full day out, given we had a late flight, meaning we made the complete most out of our trip. Would certainly recommend to stay here, and have done to our friends already who are looking to book.

The hotel is very conveniently located, on the border between the old and new town. Check-in was quick, the receptionist was extremely friendly. Room 308. The room wad good, there was a tiny fridge and a kettle. The TV did not work, it did not turn on. The bathroom wad uncomfortable. The problem is that the shower is equipped with a curtain, and it is too short, it does not reach the threshold separating the shower from the rest of the toilet. Thus, the entire floor ends up in water, and this is even when you shower carefully. If you do not hold the shower head with your hands, then everything will be flooded, since the shower is hung so that it is directed straightly at the short curtain. I have stayed in this hotel about 10 times over last 15 years. So, during this period of time, the breakfast has been becoming worse and worse. Now, it became completely disgusting at a price of 11.50 euros. There is no choice, and the food is of an extremely low quality, just a shame. I'm not sure I'll go back to Bern again, even though this time the price was the lowest in 15 years, despite the inflation.
