This a a small hotel and it is very clean and quiet considering it is located in an area with multiple nightclubs that are open very late. There area around it has lots of small specialty craft shops which are fun to browse.

I have a 3 day lay over in Athens. The Vault is conveniently located so I can take the hop-on / off bus. It is closed to the National Botanical Garden and the Syntagma subway station and has many restaurants nearby. The only problem is that the front desk closes at 9 pm, so my check in is a bit uncertain (it works out OK,).

Location was perfect! Walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars and cafes. The room was comfy, soundproof and very tastefully decorated, with a few nice paintings. High grades for the staff, which was helpful and eager. Overall, it was a perfect choice, exactly what we expected from a small boutique hotel in the centre of Athens.

The front desk is very helpful and kind. The location is great. Easy 15 min walk to everything. But the hotel’s photos are very misleading. It is small and if you happen to be a family of 4, the sofa bed is not a comfortable bed.

It was close to most sightseeing places, but it was very noisy from a club across the street who opened until 3am one night and very late other nights. Sleeping in the bathroom was the only option.

Really nice little hotel, clean and modern room with good bathroom and bed. BUT the hotel is placed in a VERY noisy street, and right opposite there is a bar/nightclub with loud music and noisy people on the street. My room was placed facing the street, so it was impossible to sleep without using earplugs. So, ask for a room, that is not placed facing the street. Wifi a bit slow.

Great price, but the room had a very funky smell. Perhaps from the bedrest, perhaps from the shower drain.. not sure. At night, there was someone crushing something very loudly outside..???? and pressure washing!! At like 10 -11 pm!! And in the morning, an abrupt awakening with a jackhammer!!!!! 8 AM. And this is all from the courtyard facing window, not the street. I slept with earplugs so it was mostly OK. I assume after 11 PM there was no more noise since i did not awake in the night.
