This is a great resort within 30 minutes of the airport. There are many options for activities at the resort. We enjoyed both beaches and the pools. The beaches are small but not overcrowded and we had no trouble using a Hobie and a sea kayak to explore the waters around the resort. We also played mini golf.

I enjoyed my short stay at Verandah. The staff were great, good customers service and make sure you enjoy your visit. The drivers are always willing to take you to whatever your destination and they are very patient. The bartenders were great, along with the breakfast crew, dining crew and staff at beach grill.

Be prepared for a spread out property, you can walk, or get rides on a golf cart. Very different than most resorts we have stayed at. Very relaxed atmosphere, go at your own pace, not pushing games or events. The restaurants were all very good, but some buffet items could use improvement. Be ready to have a relaxing time, things will move slowly, they are in no rush and neither were we.
