We were here for our Anniversary/Birthday celebration. This is the third year we have come to Jackson for our celebration and the third place we have stayed. Not much in the way of amenities (no fridge or coffee maker in the room) but we had our own little living room to relax in. The music in the tavern was great, good enough that we had dinner there both nights of our stay. The menu offered some variety and the food was good. The owner was very nice and took the time to give us a little history of the area.

Great hotel in the beautiful small town of Jackson, old world charm in the mountains. All the staff were so friendly, the bar and restaurant were just perfect. Beautiful quirky rooms. Yesterday's, 2 doors down make the perfect American breakfasts. Bears roam free (unfortunately we didn't see one), there's even a classic covered bridge.

My son and I stayed in the economy room with two twin beds. The room was cozy and rustic in a good way. The bathroom was clean enough but could use an update. The living room common area outside the room was a nice place to drink my morning tea and read. I loved being able to walk down the stairs into the bar room for dinner, drinks and live music. It was also a stone's throw to Jackson X-C. Sue and Stu were very accommodating. There was no power the day I arrived due to high winds. Stu, the owner, opened the tavern for guests and we had fun hanging drinking and chatting with other guests. Sue kept the bar open a little later for us so that we could eat at the bar when my son arrived from Boston with food. In all, it was a good value and the perfect place to stay for our father-son ski trip.

I never saw any staff during my stay nor did I receive any instructions regarding how to find or get into my room. Luckily I met another guest that showed mere how to find what I was looking for. The room was okay but I am used to watching TV in bed which was not possible as the TV was located in the other room. The room was excessively warn and took many hours with the window (almost impossible to access) open. The bathroom space was small making any movements inside awkward. I ended up checking out a day early.

We loved everything about this place. Krystal welcomed us and we enjoyed every minute. Our room was golf-themed with interesting pictures. The garden with nightly entertainment was beautiful. And the price was beyond reasonable.

The Tavern & Inn is very nice - but closed two days per week. Happened to be when we were there.
Unfortunately no information was given and no information about what to do getting in and out of a "closed" hotel!

Our room was very clean and updated. The shower in our room was very small and i am a petite person.
Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel needed a facelift.
The ONE and only person who was there when we checked in was very nice and helpful. We never saw anyone else there, even when we departed in the morning.
