Had a lovely room in the grounds with it's own balcony. Loved to see and hear nature on the doorstep. Didn't have Dinner but breakfast was excellent. Loved the fact we were central to visit quite a lot of historic towns.

Lovely stay, staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had Sunday lunch which was superb and the breakfast was amazing. Rooms were immaculate and the gardens made you feel you weren’t staying in a pub. Thoroughly recommended and if we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay here next time

We were in one of the lodge rooms , which was very nice . Heating was good and very comfortable bed and a small place outside with table and chairs . Luckily our room was at the back as the main road is quite busy , but we heard nothing Would gladly stay here again
