3 night stay, 2 adults & 2 children.
States onsite parking - but there is no onsite parking. You may be lucky to get a space in the 2 streets either side of the church though & if you happen to be parked there between 4.30pm and 6.30, you have to text owner to register. They are unable to register you for your entire stay. Enter the church via the front door, don’t worry about all the litter outside the door & in the bushes, it adds to the charm of the place. Old church door that has just one small Yale lock, no dead bolts etc. Looks like it has been kicked in before. This meant the noisy drunks outside at night makes it a little unsettling especially if you are sleeping downstairs. Only between hours of 11pm and 4 am though, so suggest sleep at other times. Area not nice. Children were scared at night. Left early as did not feel safe. Plenty of cups & glasses, once you have washed them they are ready for use. Not sure if oven worked, did not use as looks like it has never been cleaned. Had to clean cupboards, kitchen sides and fridge. General cleanliness of place is dusty and unclean. Toothbrushes & little toothpaste tubes supplied so no need to use remnants of toothpaste in cups left for you in the bathrooms.
Overlooked bedrooms, no blinds or netting, but dirty windows makeup for that a little.
Cut short stay, after no sleep by 4am 2nd night. Children distressed. Informed owner & no response. Taking matters further.
