The Inn on Christmas Eve
Stayed one night. This is really just a B since there’s no breakfast other than Hostess donuts and a fruit pie left in the room.

The property is set back from the road and has an historic feel to it. Our room had a balcony which was great on a sunny day. The room was heated by a gas fireplace which was a nice touch. We were able to walk to a restaurant and bike to the Bruce Freeman bike trail which was great. The Inn felt like it needed some TLC and updating.

This was just such a wonderful time and experience we had. What a beautiful home and room! We also really enjoyed walking around the property and feeding the horses and giving them lots of petting. We just loved them so much. We look forward to coming back.

Not what we expected
Strange experience no contact with the hosts
and breakfast items in the room were processed donuts and fruit pie. The milk was curdled not even able to get a cup of tea,so unlike any previous bed and breakfast experience. The room was comfortable and all other services available.

The farm is in a deteriorated state. The cottage is not very clean due to the old state of the building. When sitting on the deck the view is very nice except for the huge amount of mosquitos, micr and squirels.

The room was more than I expected. However the check in process was confusing. I received an email stating I was to call at least 24 hours in advance for instructions. When I called a couple days before I arrived, all I got was leave a message. I tried again as I got closer to my arrival and again got the voice mail. I became concerned when I didn't receive a return call. Upon my arrival I was left instructions with my name on it. As stated above the room was very nice. It would be even better if the check in was clearer.

The property is NOT at all what it was advertised to be! We found someone's dirty underwear and garbage in the room, no extra toilet paper, the sink dripped water constantly, the 'pre-packaged breakfast' were 3 small packages of Hostess donuts, 1 fruit pie, 4 small fruit cups and an in-room coffee pot - a comfortable bed, with very uncomfortable pillows. That is the worst so-called 'breakfast' I have ever experienced! There is no living room or any 'shared' space, other than the entry where you pick up your room key. This is NOT a bed and breakfast and should NOT be advertised as such. It is an old house that needs significant upgrades, with rooms to rent in a nice setting.
