This is a classic 1970s hotel that has so much potential. If some things likes drapes and furniture were updated it would seem a little more appealing. But it was clean. Having a car we appreciated being further away from the touristy areas. Breakfast was nice and tasty!

Disappointing

When checking in, the attendant was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. However, when we requested ice from the new front desk staff, it was denied us and we were told to go to the nearby store to purchase it. Another very upsetting experience was at breakfast when the attendant told us we had to pay for taking out our sandwiches which we’ve never experienced while traveling in Norway.

Blev modtaget af en ikke specielt imødekommende receptionist. Blev henvist til restaurant men der var praktisk taget ikke mad til os så vi forlod restauranten igen. Ved endnu en henvendelse i receptionen var der ingen til stede og hun dukkede først op ved opkald per telefon. På værelset stod skål med brugte tandstikker og kapsler.

Gammelt og slitt.

Hotellet gjorde det den var ment til, men det blir nok annet hotell på neste opphold. Rommet var sikkert rent, men var så slitt og guffent at det fremstod skittent. Innredning og møbler var gamle og det luktet innestengt uten at det var mulig å lufte på en god måte. Frokosten var i nedre klasse sammenlignet med andre Thon hoteller. For eksempel smakte eggerøren ikke egg, men smeltet smør. Det var ikke hardkokt egg, og brødene var samme kjedelige type som man kjøper i butikken.
