The staffs were courteous and pleasant. Free drink and coffee provided. The rooms are a bit clean. Beds are comfy. It's a safe neighborhood. Not many choices of restaurants and stores are within a walking distance. However, the place is satisfactory.

Outside of the small bathrooms the place is fabulous. It’s only 7 blocks from the main square. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have outside seating. Don’t listen to the reviews about it being in an unsafe area. Me and my son walked it daily and at night as well never had any issues with anyone.

The good: The staff are nice and helpful, the AC works really well, and they have cold and hot water as well as coffee available at the lobby at all times. The bad: depending on the room, it can be noisy due to traffic, the toilet seats don't have enough room to sit comfortably since they face the wall with only inches of leg room, and the Internet can be unreliable

Good service that wants to get better
Weather the heat was making Merida pretty unbearable, their AC units would take care of the problem, if there was good food in market places , they were informed, let alone the good eateries, there was coffee, mornings and afternoons, the aroma would bring us down from our rooms , they even provided a cooler to keep our beverages cold , and all ways that friendly smile , that caractarizes this great cultural city.
