Staff seemed overworked and understaffed at the time of our visit. Overall the room was clean and updated.

Close to the park. Quiet at night
dennis, 2-night trip

This is a good budget option only about 10 minutes from the entrance to Bon Echo Provincial Park. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size. Be aware the hotel restaurant is not open every day, and that the nearest other restaurant is a 15 minute drive; the gas station across the street has some basics but not a ton. I suggest bringing your own breakfast supplies.

Excellent stay! Helpful, friendly staff and many great upgrades have been made to this property
Elspeth J, 1-night trip

Our room was clean but the A/C was quite noisy. The restaurant had a limited menu (compared to their website) and it closes at 7:00pm on Sunday evening. No breakfast available on Mon and Tue. Staff are very nice people.

Nice and quiet. Recent renovation. Considering the location, it was good. Restaurant and bar were rarely open. Had to search for staff. There was no service to have room made up/towels changed/coffee replenished.

Must be new owners. Has improved tremendously. Rooms have been redone and very clean. New toilets and sink. Parking at front should be repaved. Back of building is very dark if you need to park there.

This is very close to Bon Echo Provincial Park and that is why I chose it. I stayed one night so I could get an early start in the park. There is a gas station and convivence store opposite the property. Parking lot does need to be repaved, that is an upgrade the property should undertake. It is a rural area so keep that in mind. It has a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Their restaurant is only open on certain days, and that is true of the entire area. I brought my own food and made it in the room. Otherwise I would have had to travel far for food that was available. So just keep that in mind when planning. It was a good nights sleep.

If you're looking for a high end hotel atmosphere don't come here. If you're looking for a nice, clean, friendly affordable place to stay you'll be pleasantly surprised. Food and service was excellent!

Super accommodating staff. Great alternative to camping so close to Bon Echo. New beds. Open windows, heat and a/c. Dine in or drive to 41 Fries-41 Scoops :)
Roberta, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The Staff & food excellent.. our room was on the bottom floor & it smelled alittle musty…I wouldn’t agree that it’s a premium room as advertised…They need more kitchen staff.. one person was serving… preparing food & cashing people out at breakfast
Marilyn, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was okay. Beds were comfortable. Didn't make beds or provide fresh towels, etc during our 2 night stay.
Janet, 2-night trip

Lakeside Inn is a quiet property, not on the lake vut located close to Bon Echo. Rooms are basic but have been recently updated and our room was very clean. Bed was comfortable enough, a/c in room noisy but efficient. Mini fridge and microwave as well in our room was nice feature. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good place for a night or 2!
Tanya, 1-night trip

We were visiting family. The Inn was perfect for us. Very clean, and friendly staff. The restaurant was not open but there was a coffee shop in the gas station across the street that served fresh coffee to go, doughnuts, bagels, etc. We would certainly book again…a short drive to some very nice towns like Madoc and Sterling which are worth a visit.
Marcel, 2-night trip

Parts of the Inn have been renovated Bright rooms comfortable beds. Restaurant and Bar were closed, probably staffing issues Nice patio out front we could sit and enjoy breakfast we bought from a donut store across the street Pet friendly
suzanne, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Location is close to Bon Echo Provincial Park, but it’s quite difficult to find food close by especially when the hotel restaurant is closed due to short of staff. The room is clean enough, hot water & wifi are working well. They need to put bath mat inside the bathtub so it won’t be too slippery.
Ferjanti, 1-night trip

A budget motel in the area

Not many choice around the area. Considering the price, it's a fair place to stay. The beds are comfortable, water is pretty hot, but the heater is super loud. The floor is not clean (some mud under the desk). The surrounding is very quiet.
