We have stayed here a few times but as it was my husband’s birthday we upgraded to a suite and it was wonderful. Really big room with a lovely bathroom with twin sinks, a super bath and large seperate shower. Nice toiletries and large bath sheets too. The bed was very big and comfortable. Best of all was the balcony out onto the roof and behind the chinmey stack where it was great to sit in the sun in complete privacy with a cup of tea or a drink. I must also mention the lovely staff on reception - they are so friendly and efficient - and are a credit to the hotel.

The service was outstanding at reception and we got our room early which was really appreciated. Lovely lounge areas for sitting and a nice bar area too. This hotel is very comfortable and clean, and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, but the pledge they invite you to sign about not needing to have your room cleaned every day for so-called environmental protection is horse manure. It’s just a green-washing way to save themselves money. Also, don’t order from the night menu (if you can even find one in your room) unless you enjoy waiting for 40 minutes for lukewarm pizza that gives you the runs a few hours later! Final advice for the hotel: don’t have a waiter come to ask me if I’d like anything else with my meal, I ask for orange juice, and then she tells me to get it myself.
