8/10 Very good

It was a nice place beautiful beach, small play area for kids. Very clean. The continental breakfast was nice. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was air conditioning. It was 28 degrees and no windows or air conditioning.
Cynthia, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very clean room. Good continental breakfast.
Joyce, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel is located on the waterfront- the staff are a little afraid to talk to the guests and there was a few restrictions in the breakfast dining area, otherwise a nice place to stay.
Jacqueline, 1-night trip

Nice property. Cabin like rooms that are spacious and clean. Good internet and TV service!
Frederick, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Cozy feeling with only 11 other cabins. Located along the shores so beautiful spaces to walk around and watch wildlifr. Room was very comfortable, with fridge and microwave as added bonuses. Recommend this lodge if visiting St. Anthony or nearby landmarks.

Tranquil and beautiful setting on the ocean. Remote location.

4/10 Fair

Impersonal

Absentee landlord. Note on office door - key in unit door. At continental breakfast, no one there - had to forage for ingredients (run out of bread - had to look around cupboards and fridge. Any orange juice? let’s explore. Out of way location

We got a room with ocean view. It's so peaceful. And the amenities are good enough. Breakfast is okay.
Leo, 1-night trip

Neat location and very clean rooms

The rooms and furnishings, while nothing fancy, was very suitable and very clean. The motel is located on a large waterfront property. Continental breakfast gave just enough options to start your day (bread, muffins, yogurt, cereal, fruit). Owner was very nice and engaged in conversation with guests at breakfast. Can't go wrong here for a motel experience.
Stephane, 2-night trip

Leonard, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very nice place a bit off the beaten track.

We stayed here for two nights while in the L'anse Meadows area. It is in a quiet secluded area and a bit out of the way from L'anse Meadows and St. Anthony. It was about a 20-25 minute drive to St. Anthony where most area restaurants are located. The rooms are very large and a bit rustic (in a good way). We had a large jacuzzi tub which was a very nice touch. The check in and check out process was very good. The continental breakfast was great. The owners were very friendly. Unfortunately it was very cold during our stay so we could not enjoy the wonderful view by the sea that the location offers.
Darwin, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Great location. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Very good bathroom. Beds were ok on the comfort level however without a/c it was a bit muggy. Biggest challenge was with mosquitos. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and don’t leave your door open for a second more than required to get your bags in. The expression “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, spend a night in a dark room with a mosquito” applies here. I spent hours with the light on just to try killing them, but more kept getting in. Slept little.
Derek, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely motel right on the water. Good continental breakfast. Room clean, with a bed and one table and two chairs. Good tub and shower in bathroom. I think some of the rooms were a bit upgraded, but ours had an older, somewhat saggy bed. We did have a tv and small refrigerator. Good value for the location. There actually was no laundry on the premises.
Martha, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place to stay. On the ocean snd quiet.
