Very close to the 400 highway, but very quiet. The call of loons, ducks and geese were very soothing. Watched a beaver swim by. While most of the features (restaurant, seasonal water craft) were not available as it was off season, we were able to walk to another restaurant and it was great. Our only suggestion would be to add an elevator for easy access to the second floor, as navigating the stairs with a stroller was a bit challenging with a baby.

Spent our anniversary at Christie’s Mill (first time we’d ever been) and overall we had a wonderful stay! Our original room was across from the sauna and was super hot but we got our room upgraded and switched within a few hours of our arrival with immense apologies from the staff! We weren’t a huge fan of the dinner menu but loved going to the restaurant for breakfast. Pool definitely could’ve been warmer in my opinion since it is labeled as a “heated indoor pool” and didn’t look the cleanest. But the soaker tub was wonderful, and loved the outdoor sitting area when we finished swimming. Overall the hotel staff and restaurant staff were amazing and super helpful with anything we needed. We enjoyed our getaway and would definitely return.

This is our go to place every year and we love it, this year we went on June 1st but unfortunately the beach, fireplace, canoes/kayaks and day beds weren’t setup for use. Next time we would be booking later in the summer after confirming everything is up and running for use. Otherwise great place to visit !!

Relaxing weekend

We stayed overnight this past weekend for my birthday treat. It was a great experience, everyone was lovely and friendly including the guests. I'm guessing it's the ambiance of the place that makes everyone so accommodating and wonderful.
