The Herald Review
The staff at the Hotel are excellent in the customer service space. Based on some of the Hotel Challenges they manage the process exceptionally well.

The location was great, we could walk to a lot of the places we want to go and there was a subway station right outsided The staff was very kind and understanding and made our stay wonderful. I would stay here again when we come to NY.

Great area - Average stay
It was in a great location & our interactions with the staff were friendly, but it could use some upgrades. We only spent one night, but there were some major cosmetic issues, some strange stains on the headboard & the TV didn't work at all.

Best location
The best thing about the hotel is its location, literally next to the station to take any of the yellow or orange lines. It is close to the main stations such as Penn Station and Grand Central. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is comfortable and very well located. The lobby staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was shabby, we stayed on 17th floor, a lot of ceiling damage along the window side of room. NO toiletries, or hair dryer. The pullout bed had a damaged mattress, stuffing coming out and stained. I reported it and they brought a topper while we were out. Main bed was clean and comfortable. Not worth $500 !!!

Excellent location. Our room had everything we needed. The staff were so kind and they housekeep everyday. Also we had a nice view from our room and the place is just few minutes walk from Time Square and train stations…

The hotel have space for store the luggage if you get there before check in time or if you gotta check out and wait for the flight. Staff had a good communication and were very helpful and professional. Comfortable room, it was perfect for a quick visit

Poor service, outdated hotel
The service overall and the unwillingness of the staff to help with any requests was extremely disappointing. Our room was also very worn and the aging and dirt was clearly visible. Very outdated facilities. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, and there are MANY better options around Herald Square, so wouldn't recommend this hotel by any means. The attitude of the staff is terrible.
Juuso, 2-night trip

Place was centrally located can’t beat the location Rooms were large for NY standards and basic but fine, bed was a bit soft for my liking and the tv cable wasn’t working properly but for the price great value

You get what you paid for.
We only stayed for a night but the bed was very comfortable with a city view. The room was clean with new sheets but the only thing is they never gave us any soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush. The other hotels I have stayed always had them in the bathroom and we didn’t have to ask for them. Good thing I packed some. Anyway, it’s a cheap hotel so I’m not even mad.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Centrally located, close to attractions and transportation. Had a little trouble finding it because there is no signage out front; they need to fix that. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and there was a mini fridge. I would stay there again. Nothing fancy, but clean and convenient.
Gwendolyn Marian, 7-night trip

I liked that we were able to walk to several of our destinations and/or to the subway. The staff was helpful and friendly.
