The hotel is placed in a quite and serene town, Urgup. The Host and his team were extremely welcoming and helped us with bookings for tours across all the days we stayed there. Doda hits ALL the marks✨ Friendly 24/7 concierge service and an incredible breakfast. We loved room 208! A unique space offering a bi-level room (upstairs bedroom and bathroom, downstairs sitting area with a mini fridge and tea kettle). You’ll have your own private patio overlooking the courtyard and the city of Ortahisar. After visiting Goreme and Uchisar we were very happy we chose Orthisar. It is quaint and peaceful in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of the other two main stays AND you also avoid all of the steep hills here. Taxis are always available and cost ~400 Lira (~5 USD) for a day or night visit into Goreme or Uchisar. HIGHLY recommend!

In all my years of travelling , I can honestly say this has been one of the most beautiful properties and hotel staff I have ever experienced. I dont think there is a number that can do justice on this place. The vibe and how much they are invested in your experience is unbelieveble. They can organize every activity and find best price to their guest , helping for every option immediately. The balloons and horse back riding was awesome thank you guys and we got very good carpet. Bad Experience with Bug Attacks & Bad WiFi

Our stay at the Doda Hotel was highly disappointing. During our brief stay, my mom and I were attacked by bugs, and despite this severe issue, the hotel refused to refund us. From the moment we arrived, we were looking forward to a comfortable stay. However, it quickly became a nightmare when we discovered bugs in our room. We reported the problem to the hotel staff immediately, hoping for a quick resolution or at least a change of rooms. Unfortunately, their response was inadequate, and we continued to suffer from bug bites. To make matters worse, the hotel’s amenities were far from what was promised. The Wi-Fi was insufficient, making it impossible to stay connected. After enduring this for a few hours, we decided to check out almost immediately, not even managing to stay 12 hours. This unfortunate experience nearly ruined my mother’s birthday, which was supposed to be a special occasion. The hotel management’s lack of action was extremely frustrating. Not only did they fail to address the issue properly, but they also refused to provide any form of compensation or refund for the discomfort and distress we experienced. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality industry that prides itself on guest satisfaction. Our experience was far from satisfactory. The bugs, insufficient Wi-Fi, and the hotel’s refusal to refund us have left us with a lasting negative impression. Given our unfortunate experience, we would not recommend staying here.
