The view at this hotel cannot be beaten, the pool/beach area looks over the old town and Lokrum island which is just amazing, but the hotel is in dire need of a renovation and food upgrade.

PERFECT LONG WEEKEND

We had a wonderful room with balcony overlooking the sea and also the Old Town was in view. Only a few minutes walk and you are in the heart of the Old Town. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff looked after you. Will definitely be staying there again.

Fantastic stay over several days! EXCELLENT hotel, grounds, staff, amenities, locatIon, and exceptionally clean. Easy 10 minute walk to the Old Town gate. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and large enough. No complaints at all, and would definitely stay there again.

A magical & memorable weekend with balcony views of the Adriatic Sea & Dubrovnik Old Town. We stayed in one of the newly renovated villas in the historic palazzo building & had personal concierge service as well as personal chef at the villa terrace restaurant who cooked up whatever we wanted for breakfast fresh. Like a second honeymoon for my husband & me. Highly recommend! Hvala!

The location of the hotel and the ocean level outdoor pool distinguish this hotel from others. You can see the Old City form your room and the outdoor pool. 10 minutes walk along the ocean coast to the Old City is nice and pleasant. The only issue is the bathroom in the bedroom and the swimming pool/spa. They are dated and require renewal. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Dubrovnik.

The pool view and set up was excellent. We're fast walkers and were in the Old City in under 10 minutes, making the location perfect. The terrace area was great for the inclusive breakfast or drinks. The breakfast was great. Our room had a large and private balcony. The rooms are Old World, yet under the bed spread was a down feather duvete. The shower was more like a capsule size. My husband is 5'10" and did fine. The blow dryer was aweful. The staff was wonderful. I would go back again. The pool area was the biggest treat. It was great to get off an 11 hour flight and relax there before walking into the Old City.

Somewhat disappointing

Some friends stayed here before the pandemic and raved about it, so we splurged for this hotel. It seems that things went downhill during the pandemic. Carpets and furnishings are quite faded. The first morning the shower head didn't work properly, resulting in a flooded bathroom to clean up (although maintenance was prompt in replacing the offending showerhead). However, the seals at the base of the glass shower door continued to leak, so the bathroom was rather dangerous for an older guest. The hairdryer was pathetic, the conditioner wouldn't rinse out, and the magnifying mirror was mounted on a wall away from any illumination. The service was okay, but less than I expect in a five star hotel.
