Nicely refurbished old school motel. King bed was fine, rooms smaller than modern hotels, but it was clean and well maintained. Exterior of motel looks fresh and has a tasteful early California vibe; has a slight 50’s feel. My wife and I liked the whiff of vintage. Indoor pool smart idea for Monterey weather. Only con is that it is in the airport’s flight path, but only one late afternoon flight was observed, so not a deal breaker.
