This is a great hotel in Kingston as a base to see Kingston, Hampton and Richmond. Good for parking, friendly staff, especially on reception and the bar.

Loved the ambience and scent of the hotel. Really clean and very friendly staff. The jazz trio in the bar on the Friday night was an unexpected but delightful bonus, especially as they were excellent musicians with a great rapport.

The hotel was really cosy and the breakfast and dinner delicious. You can walk to Hampton Court in 30 minutes, along the River Thames and Bushey Park is just opposite with free roaming deer and ducks and swans. Kingston upon Thames has an abundance of shops and restaurants. It was a perfect spring break.

The welcome was great, I arrived early and was able to work from the pub during the morning before my room was ready and was able to check in early. The staff were all super friendly too! Rooms super comfortable and the added benefit of a mini fridge which included fresh milk for T&C and superb little treat of shortbread is always very welcome after a long day. Very useful as there is an EV charge point there too :)
