Misinformation

Hotel stay was good. When asked, the hotel front desk said it would cost 8000-9000yen to Narita airport by taxi and called us a taxi. We didn't confirm rate with the taxi driver trusting the hotel staff. It ended up 30000yen for taxi and the driver made us to pay it(around $230 usd).

I stayed at the b Akasaka for 6 nights and had a lovely experience. The staff were all warm and welcoming, and as a solo traveller, I really appreciated how safe and comfortable I felt. Great value for money, too. If I could suggest one small improvement—it would be wonderful to have coffee condiments in the room rather than needing to head down to the lobby. Looking forward to my next stay!

Pros: Excellent staff, good location and great breakfast (included for the adults only). Cons: Beds are very uncomfortable, couldn’t sleep the 2 nights i was there (thin and hard mattresses). I stayed at The B namba kuromon in Osaka and had no problems with the beds there.

The rooms aren't very big, but they are functional, perfect for someone exploring Tokyo. The staff were exceptional in helping navigate everything. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful.
