We stayed one night. Bed was very comfortable and new. The room set up was cute and simple. There was a newly renovated restaurant next door which made it convenient for our breakfast.

Motel itself was exactly what you’d expect considering the age of the building. It was fine for sleeping…just very old. The restaurant however leaves a lot to be desired. They were short staffed and didn’t know how to cook.

We may have been the only people staying that night, but the parking lot was freshly plowed. We received our check-in code a little after 5pm, but we arrived to the motel at 10pm and everything worked out fine. The room was pretty cold initially, but heat worked well.

This property was just perfect for us. It was less than an hour to get to Munising for the pictured rocks boat tour. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and what a deal. It was nicer than expected.
