Excellent hotel on the St Croix River
This is a really comfortable historic hotel that has been updated. Very large rooms, some with views of the river. A good Irish pub in the building serves meals, and the shops and restaurants of Stillwater are all within a couple of blocks. Very relaxing stay.

This is a lovely historic inn, and my room overlooked the bridge and the river - which was beautiful. I was surprised to get charged an extra $75 when I arrived; $40 for parking two nights and the rest they said was because Hotels didn't "charge enough tax." So that was an unpleasant start. But it was lovely, the area is very nice, and definitely a nice place.
