This place is very unsafe do not stay here.

The room was alright. Hotel was dirty. Checking in was not easy. Things going on in the hallway and outside all hours of the night. Very overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Would not return.

They didn't have my res. Had to find another motel for more. Homeless hangout in parking lot. A guest already checked in came down to desk to have them sweep and mop floor in his room. Terrible is a compliment for them. I would like a refund.

2/10 Terrible

I never saw a room or bathroom because the owner/manager, who let me in through the bolted front door, said that she would feel uncomfortable renting to me. My Uber driver was hesitant to leave me there. The owner agreed that I not be charged. I walked a block and found a guest house. I'd like my refund and for Expedia to remove this "Inn" from your listings.

Hotel is an older hotel. Advertisement photo(s) are deceiving. I walked in and walked right out,

We were told they overbooked. Turned us away. Drugs, street crooks prostitution on property. Kept our money. Scary place in broad light.

2/10 Terrible

No free shuttle despite their listing saying they had a free shuttle. No reservation from Expedia. Staff could barely speak English. Slow and confused response and I said “well just come down here.” we told them no we’re canceling our reservation and we’re going somewhere else.
Christopher, 1-night trip

The ability to witness a murder. WOW! Very unsafe! This is a homeless shelter more than a hotel. At best a hostel.
Atlanta, 2-night trip

Horrible hotel, slept with my clothes on, towels were dirty, homeless outside and was a murder there a few nights ago..DO NOT STAY HERE.
Dennis, 1-night trip

Oh my God. This place is surreal. Absolutely disgusting. I have stayed in many inexpensive places but this place should not be legally able to operate. Please save your money. We left and went to another hotel.
Renee, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Did not stay here due to safety concerns. Felt like I was pulling up to a homeless shelter rather than a hotel. Bunch of people smoking up front and the door was locked. Also, appeared more run down and older than in the photos.
Cade, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Well, we didn't stay at this hotel in Alaska. I canceled my reservations but couldn't get any refund. Booked for 3 nights, I called for cancellation on first day/night. They could have charged me for one day no problem, but they charged us the whole for 3 days! I used Expedia back after a long time not using it but even Expedia couldn't help out! Basically, we were ripped off!!!
Pedro, 3-night trip

There were homless all over. To close to the train tracks and very noisy orher guests.

A lot of red flags. The area and the premises felt very unsafe. The rooms smelled of weed and smoke and were dirty, without any amenities. There were random people at the reception at 1 am who looked stoned. We had to abandon our reservation after checking in and look for something at the last minute.
Soham, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The hotel reeked of old cigarette smoke and the bed had the thinnest, oldest sheets I've ever seen. We had zero towels in the room and when we asked for one, they never brought one. We had to prop the window open with a trash can cause it was 90 degrees in our room and there was no screen. We were also on the first floor and felt very unsafe. I will say the bathroom was surprisingly clean and it looked like someone was trying when we left. Flowers were being planted outside and maybe they'll improve but this was definitely the sketchiest hotel I've ever slept in.
Ashley, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

I left within two hours. I’m pretty sure the receptionist was on drugs. The place was disgusting! The bed was so dirty you could lie down on it. There was graffiti on the walls. Smokes burns on the bed and bathroom floor. I felt so unsafe! A homeless man got in from the back door and was outside my room door and offered to smoke weed with me in the car park, I was terrified. There was random shouting. There was flies in the lobby. The bathroom smelt of smoke was dirty!
Sarah, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Windows opened with fans in them and clothing hanging out to dry. It was nothing like the pics. I doubt I ever trust Expedia again
Stephen, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Comparable to my local homeless shelter. There was a stabbing the night before we went. We stood in the door until our Uber came back afraid to move. Thudding and thumping up and down the stairs and dirt stains. Nothing like the pictures I seen. Building was a completely different colour! Was refunded my money which is nice and the staff knew they didn’t want us there (people may cause us problems) as much as we didn’t want to be there.
TRINA, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

I did not stay. I forfeited my prepaid room and went to a different hotel.
Jaime, 1-night trip

Chelsea inn is a flop.house for druggies and prostitution. Or room didn't lock and some one dressed is all black came into our room about 3am. Then at 4am the fire alarm went off and we checked out. We were there for 2.5hrs!! Your customer service chat was not Helsinki. They refused to refund us and we couldn't find a room at any other hotel that wasn't under$600 a night. Due to expedia.com's lack of vetting and safety protocols, yall put is in a dangerous situation! I will never use your service again and i will tell everyone i know how awful my experience was with your services. We ended up sitting at a dennys until 8am when we could finally get our rental car and head to our actual destination. I want my money back! And i took pictures of this horrible hotel!!
Tania, 1-night trip

I saw the reviews, I knew what I was getting into. But the spot is beat. Slept with a knife in my hand, literally all night. Oogles knocking on my door all night looking for their whatever, NOT ME. I got out ok, but didn't leave my things alone more than 30 min. WORST part was the hot, STINKY room. FUNKY. Real funk. No fan. No window screen. No Ac. I just had to live with the bugs and the sound, THE CONSTANT trains rolling by. . coming in at a point. Too hot to live. I stayed a night and left. Roll the dice if you want. But place is a waiting nightmare. If you DON'T tangle with the locals, id be surprised. Rough trade. Gawd Speeeeeeed. Nice dude at the desk. And No creepy crawlies in the room, which was shocking and a nice surprise!!!! At least none I could see.
Kristopher, 1-night trip

My first impression of the hotel was the amount of "Ladies (and gentlemen) of the evening" of all shapes, sizes, and genders (including a 6'4" beauty in a minidress and 5 o'clock shadow) waiting outside. Then it was a locked metal door with no window. Once buzzed in, I entered the lobby, and was greeted with more of the "late shift." The desk clerk (poor thing) offered to show me the room to see if I would like to cancel (a sure sign you're in a five star place), but as it was after midnight, and I just wanted to sleep, so I told her it was fine. On entering the room, . . . well, let's just say I was glad I didn't bring a UV flashlight because I would have been tempted to use it. For a non-smoking room, there were certainly a lot of cigarette burns in the comforter, and the mattress was, . . . well-used. As I told my wife, our trip could only get better from here. Sorry, I do NOT recommend this place. At all. My tent in Iraq had more charm and cleanliness than this place.
