Glamping at its best!

I would describe our stay at Huttopia as a mix between camping (we opted for in a hut WITHOUT a bathroom/running water) and a memorable private cottage of our own. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. We loved our stay - even with some rain. We would absolutely stay here again (although I do think we would spring for a private bathroom next time). The Lodge hosted a nightly campfire with s'mores and featured lots of games (foosball, ping pong etc.) Enjoy!

So happy we chose to stay here instead of a hotel! It was just enough camping for the kids and just enough glamorous for me! Win win for this family!

Amazing stay! They really think about all the little details and have almost everything you need for camping. You really only need to bring your personal hygiene things, clothes and food.

The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The food that was served was excellent. The 'tents' were well equipped. It was relaxing and comfortable!

I was Shocked when I arrived after being told there was a bathroom in the cabin I quickly learned that I had to pay an additional 302$ to have a cabin with a bathroom.

Glampy site but not glampy campy

Beautiful setting until the long walk pulling carts of our belongings uphill to our campsite. Needless to say had to find 2 carts that had inflated tires! Other option is being driven up by a golf cart but you still have the walk to your car and back up for garbage. True campers pack lightly as there is very limited space. Also lack of anything to do in the camp itself. Wi-Fi would be nice to listen to music also.

5 STARS!!!

Our family had an amazing weekend! The tent was very clean and well organized; toilet, shower, sink, fridge - all worked great; comfortable beds. Beautiful place, delicious food, fresh air, kind and very friendly stuff … what else you can wish for!

8/10 Very good

Overall a very good glamping experience. We don’t really utilize much of the onsite facilities besides the pool, but the location was very convenient to local attractions in the area. The only inconvenience with our tent was that it didn’t have a door, which we saw in the property photos and in the neighboring tents. We had a zip up door which allowed a lot of bugs in and not convenient when bringing food to grill in and out of the tent.

Very clean, very nice amenities, good food, nice pool, friendly staff. Comfortable beds, nice linens/towels, really everything you need. Bathrooms could use a mirror and a hook or two to put your stuff. The only downside is that the person working the desk was not from the area so was not particularly helpful when it came to making recommendations beyond what you could find online yourself.

Loved the tents but understand you are transporting your gear and it’s hilly! Everything as advertised and expected just a lil underwhelming! And really loud neighbors
janet, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

sites are fairly private--not camping on top of each other like most campgrounds anymore-Convenient easy access to Lake George and surrounding areas--also located not even 5 minutes off highway but in a world of its own when you get there. Didn't really DISLIKE anything--it was set up just as advertised--few things could have been better like location of some of the firepits and where grill was placed on firepit--couldn't sit around safely--camp chairs provided were pretty flimsy but ALL in ALL NICE PLACE w/lots extras and a very pleasant staff!!!

It is a great place to disconnect from the concrete jungle to an exceptional well thought off & designed natural jungle environment. Being with the family in the middle of the trees, sound of nature, barbecue, fire pit, nice bed and tent with kitchen supplies is amazing. The site is beautiful, calm and love everything they have done and a very well-maintained amenities with swimming pool, TT, Foosball, and Corn bag games for relaxing. The Roads & pathway lightings needs some work to improve.
Aravind, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very cool place for a first try at glamping. A little pricey however the tent has everything you will need from dishes, knifes, coffee maker, propane grill and little lantern. You are required to strip your beds and clean the cabin before you leave. Not that we minded, but it’s some thing to note. It was a good trip. We would recommend it. The phone service is nonexistent and there was not Wi-Fi. As a mom, I was happy, but my teams were not.
Jennifer, 2-night trip

Well constructed canvas tents, comfortable beds, fully electrified and with clean running water. We got a hutt with ensuite bathroom, shower, kitchen sink and mini fridge. Impressed they actually outfitted the place with Japanese Toto toilets and French down/feather sleeping bags which we unzipped and used as blankets. Also loved the propane BBQ, inside potbelly fireplace and fire pit combo which we used to the fullest. Having the restaurant was handy although the pizza could be improved. The Croque Monsieur was good though. Comfy outdoor sofa set to lounge on and metal dining set. Our kids made new friends at the pool/playground/foosball table/games. All-in-all a wonderful entrée to glamping for us! Our only suggestion would be to sand the wooden bathroom shelves/door and kitchen bench as we poked ourselves quite a few times. The boards seemed freshly cut.
Christine, 3-night trip

It’s ok. Not worth the $ for only 2 nights.

Too expensive for the type of hospitality, I get that They need to make money… The tent had window/doors covers that had velcros’ holding them together but they didn’t do their job properly so bugs (big spiders, moth, ants, & flies) where all inside the cabin all night and day. To wash my coffee cups, pans , plates etc… you have to walk up the hill or down the hill for 5 mins (depending where you are staying) to just wash them. Bathrooms are very uncomfortable and small but very clean. The pool was fun & warm. Enough space between the cabins but I was still able to hear music and drunk people. Over all i give it a 3/5 stars. I would of gave it a 4.5 but too pricey for such hospitality. I definitely would want to go back but the price has me double thinking that.

Exhausting 2 day trip

You better be ready to lug all your camping stuff up and down hills that are made of dirt and wood chips. No cars allowed anywhere near your tent so pack lightly. It’s a basic tent (romantic tent) with sink/shower/toilet and a deck, small area for a fire and also comes with a gas grill but it didn’t have any propane. Guessing you must have to ask for one, never told at check in. Most employees seemed ready for the end of season, not the friendliest. The food was horrible! Do not get the pizza!! I’ve never had a pizza where the bottom of the dough never cooks but the top cheese somewhat cooked. The girl making the pizzas had no clue how to handle dough and the pizza oven was not hot enough to cook the pizza. They should have that brick oven burning all day so when you’re ready for the dinner crowd it’s hot enough. The burrata cheese platter was two whole tomatoes sliced with a tiny ball of cheese. $36 for a small uncooked pizza with way too much canned sauce on it and two tomatoes and cheese..ridiculous. It’s a very quiet camp site so if you’re looking for silence and don’t mind lugging your stuff to your campsite this place is for you..we’ll take pass.
