Check was very easy, and the clerk was friendly and helpful. We got in our room and was very surprised how clean it was and everything that was available, like bottled water and tea, coffee. That's a good place for a value with convenient location, clean rooms and all needed basic amenities. Friendly stuff and pretty quiet outside. The only thing to keep in mind is that place is relatively old and has a poor noise isolation. You're going to hear almost everything what is going on in your neighbor rooms like TV, loud conversations and how people move in their rooms. Just be ready for that.

This is my second stay at Monterey Pines. I rebooked at Monterey Pines because my first experience was great. My second experience was good. Very clean room. I felt safe there and I stayed for three nights. The only drawback was the room next to mine had an endless stream of people coming in and out, laughing,partying, and extremely loud for the late time of night. This was on my second night of stay.
