Nice area, walkable to Casa Loma, tree-lined streets. Room was spacious and comfortable.
patricia, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

the attached pub/restaurant is convenient for a late arrival. Room 201 is considered one of the best rooms and was very clean and comfortable.
Mick, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was wonderful. AC kept it comfortable. Lots of shops nearby. U of T right across the street
Keith, 4-night trip

Not noisy at all

I was initially worried after reading about the noise, but the hotel turned out to be very quiet. I didn’t stay over a weekend, and they placed me in the room farthest from the pub, which likely contributed to the experience. Overall, my stay was great. Excellent location and excellent prices (Toronto hotels are so expensive!).
Julian, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great location, comfortable, clean.
Barry, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely old building with character and charm. Some people might find it run down, but I thought it was part of the charm. One room we stayed in had old carpet smell, but you got used to it after a few minutes and rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Albertine, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The girl who helped check us in was so sweet and we loved her vibe! The room was also cute and bigger than we excepted. Would definitely book again!
Jaiden, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Some of the furniture is old, and very cool. Some of its old and held together with duct tape haha! The pub is fantastic, as are all of the staff, servers, and desk help. The metro stop is just west of the pub parking lot. Once we figured out the subway we were set! Every uber trip was super fast.
Jay, 3-night trip

Great location. Front desk staff very helpful. Loved the balcony. Just wish there was blinds on all the windows because it was too light early in the morning.
Laurie, 4-night trip

Marianne, 5-night trip

it's a great location for the price but fairly basic low budget great value
Natalie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Small old red brick mansion with lovely heritage building character. Great location. Felt safe for two women as there are sorority houses along the same street. The nearby bars are very loud into the night. We stayed for a concert so were out late ourselves, but you will hear a DJ and bar-goers well until 5 am on the weekend. Parked in Green P lot 231 for about $20 for 24 hours which was very convenient. I would stay here again if budget and location were my priorities for a concert or party weekend, but not an ideal place for a restful vacation or business.
Amanda, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Cute and comfortable. A little dated but overall very comfortable.
Duncan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice big room. Tv was a bit small and too low to watch comfortably from bed but every else was great.
Bradley, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

There was a really cool antique vibe to the hotel. The staff at check in and check out were incredibly friendly and helpful. The server we had at breakfast with the rainbow earrings was delightful. Loved that it was so close to the transit station. Overall it was a good experience.
Samara, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent location if you want to be in the middle of it all.
Michael, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was a bit confusing figuring out how to check in. The hotel was quite charming. The furniture was dated, but it fit the overall theme of the place. It was clean and the room was comfortable. However, there was a skylight in our room that we could not cover. There is also no elevator and lots of stairs if you have a lot of luggage. Overall, it was a nice, inexpensive, place to stay in TO.
Kristyn, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Convenient and comfortable for anybody visiting a UT student
Joan, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Exactly the kind of place I love – an old Victorian mansion, high ceilings, comfortable beds, lots of character.
