Cons: Looks nothing like the pictures! Old, tiny ugly rooms, tiny bathroom, decrepit chair to sit on. Pros: Close to port, located in a safer part of Athens, continental breakfast was reasonable range, lobby check-in was open late when we arrived. We booked here just for a bed and breakfast before an early ferry the next day and for that it served it's purpose. We were just shocked at the rooms as the pictures made it look like a nice hotel. For Athens standards though at $120/night, it's okay.

It was OK for the price. I do not understand the nagative reviews. Our room was clean with new bathroom, the mattres was also new, little hard though. Staff was friendly even at 1 am when we arrived.

A clean tidy room with acomfortable bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet alcove would be a squeeze for a larger person. But otherwise the bathroom was fine. The hotel is conveniently near the Port Gate for ferries to the Cyclades. Very good value

Because of the ferry strikes I booked a room here and arrived at the airport at 2am. Went to the hotel at 5am they said we could have early check in for 30 euros. So far so good. However the room was tiny hardly enough room to put down suitcases. The fridge and bedside lights didn't work and we were unable to control the air conditioning .

The 74' era vintage authentic decor is true throwback while reminding you of Richard Nixon's resignation, Germany winning the World Cup with Captain Franz Beckenbauer and The Rumble in the Jungle between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. If, by chance, you are looking for modern features, we might suggest another hotel.

I will probably stay again. Good value for money. Very good location in the heart of Piraeus. Next to a beautiful small park. Clean. Well preserved. Pleasant staff except the experience I describe below. But a few tweks are badly needed.. Parking in the area difficult to impossible but since I always returned late from my meetings it was not a problem The second evening & the fourth morning internet did not work. Was promised this was temporary & would be fixed. Very annoying when your work depends on the internet. Thankfully a cafe nearby (Queens) had uninterrupted internet on all five days I went there Fixed work table cramped & low. I asked the young guy at reception if I could borrow a desk that seemed perfect for my needs, which I had seen on the 2nd floor serving no other purpose other than someone asking to use it, but he was negative to the point of being extremely annoying. Upon my insistence, he finally spoke to whomever he had to & the desk made it into my room which allowed me to work. Jesus! A primer on customer service for the late shift crew would be nice The phone did not work. Terrible noise prevents you from talking to the reception or anyone for that matter. A new device from the 21st century would be nice The room had mosquitos & acquired several bites during my stay The pillows were the hard kind. I did not bother asking for the soft kind so as to avoid the kind of experience I described above Buy your own shampoo No international TV stations
