Located only 15 mins from the West Glacier entrance, this was a great little condo get-away to have once I'd wrapped up the day on the trails at Glacier!
The king bed was comfortable & the place was spacious & clean--pictures of the Grizzly Den online (my unit)--were accurate & is exactly what you get.
The kitchen was fully appointed & a nice thing to have to warm up dinners, etc.
Oh, and one of my favorite things was being able to pop over to Starbucks every morning for a pumpkin chai & breakfast sandwich before heading to Glacier!
There were just a couple of things that I can think of that might be helpful for people to know when staying in the Grizzly Den/other condo options here.
Two of the bedrooms in the Grizzly Den--the king master bedroom & one of the other queen bedrooms--was along the same side that runs along the US 2 freeway. AKA it is VERY noisy!
Tons of truck traffic & lots of gear-shifting & down-braking because there is a stop light right there. Also, some car racing and base thumping and obnoxious, loud exhausts from tricked-out cars.
There was also a wreck around midnight one night, which was SO loud it woke me up and shook the building & bed!! Then 8 police cars with sirens showed up.
Nothing necessarily something that ruined my stay, just something to know & pack your ear plugs.
Last but not least, the ceiling fan in the master is very clacky & loud. There is only AC in the kitchen & living room, so it was definitely needed. Again, ear-plugs.
