Tucked away

It was me, my 5 year old, and our 9 month old puppy. Clean, quiet, comfortable cabin. Nice stargazing patio. Walk-in shower easy for all 3 of us to get clean after a long day of hiking. Bed was big enough for all of us and comfy. Restaurant on site had great staff that made us feel at home for diner and breakfast and the food was on point. Easy check-in and out process and a nice drive with great views.
Staff hanging my daughter’s art.

I liked the quietness and solitude. Staff were excellent. The cafe offered very good food and service. Bo and wife Alex were a lot of help along with Patti in the office

2/10 Poor

We left early on a 5 day trip. Room very uncomfortable. Food terrible, everything way over salted to be unhealthy. Service at the restaurant non existent. Water quality extremely hard, no effort to soften it. Wi-Fi in cabins essentially non existent ( are they on dial up?). Hotels. Con refuse to rebate the prepaid funds even though we did stay 4 of the prepaid five nights. We tried to last all 5 days, but the food was like inedible, the service so bad, that we had to leave.

Very neat place in the make of nowhere!

We really enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There is a pool in the property that is very clean and you cannot beat the views there. The cafe on sight was delicious as well. The only thing that we wished we would have known ahead of time is that you must drive down a very, very long dirt road to get there. It you want a quiet place in the desert, this is your place!

8/10 Very good

Once we got to our room it was lovely. I either didn't read all things well, or misunderstood that the lodge was 15 miles (last 3 unpaved) down a road. It was more remote than I thought, off the grid but with nice amenities once there. If you want to diconnect and relax, this is the place!
CYNTHIA, 1-night trip

We enjoyed the lodge plenty. It was nice and clean, the water was hot for all of us to shower and the AC was nice and cold. Beds are comfortable

Way off the grid

It's way off the highway! No tv, radio or cell phone reception. GREAT!! They do have good fast WIFI. Onsite restaurant serves good meal variety at resonable prices. Interesting Carroll Shelby history.
