Avoid

This place smells and has mold and bugs. If you must stay here, check ALL of the sheets and bring air freshener. I'm currently fighting them for a refund because they claim they tried everything. It's just a gross motel and the makeshift bulletproof glass in the lobby should tell you all you need to know.

There were people outside in full ski masks hiding in bushes. I was unable to go to sleep one night due to someone playing music outside until 2AM. Hotel service desk did nothing to help and suggested that I go outside and tell them to stop.

Check in was easy. Booked on line but when we got there the room was finished yet, so was offered another room on ground floor. Worked out great do to my husband just had eye surgery ( steps would have been an issue). Very friendly ,place was clean and very affordable. Definitely would stay here again.

Shady Billing Practices

My complaint has nothing to do with the hotel's condition; it has to do with the hotel's "gameday" policy. I received a phone call at 9 am, which I almost did not take because it was an unknown number, asking me if I still intended to use the room I had reserved as a pay-at-property reservation months ago. I said yes. I was told that I had to pay right there and then, over the phone, or the room would be released. It felt like a shakedown. I don't like just giving my credit card information over the phone, and I like to pay at the property so that I am there when the charge is run through. I have never had an issue with this! I paid because I had no choice. I was told that this was a "gameday" policy, but I can't find that anywhere stated on my reservation. Very shady!

Not as clean as it could have been. Floor not swept well. Bathroom floor had threads on it. Handicap shower floor was slippery. One wash cloth was (white) had blue coloring all over it.

The check in was weird. Didnt know about the $50 fee. There was a weird smell in the common area. There was no hot water. Tried running rhe shower for almost 5 minutes of the highest heat setting and it never got warm. Severly disappointed.
