Such a lovely hotel with amazing staff! We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel went above and beyond for us, providing us a balcony room at the last minute and helping throughout our stay.

Amsterdam stay

Great location, easily walkable from the centre and right on a canal. Simple but great breakfast. All you could ask from a budget hotel.

The Hotel is in an excellent area to visit the major areas of Amsterdam. The staff are great. You have to remember it is in the historic district and as such is very traditional Really good value

Quirky, but Charming with lots of character. Loved the breakfast room, warm and inviting with a cute balcony for a lookout.

Lovely place to stay with a lot of character - the staff were very friendly! My kettle and light in the bathroom did not work but other than that, very pleasant.

When we checked in the woman working at the front desk was so lovely and even upgraded our room for us which were we super appreciative for! All of the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast included was basic but very tasty. The location was great, it was near transit but anywhere we wanted to walk was 30 mins or less. Absolutely recommend and we can't wait to stay again!

Oldie but a goodie.

Great hotel full of character. Fixtures and fittings are a bit dated and looks a bit tired in places, but that said nice unique place which makes a change from the modern charmless hotels. Very steep stairs upto the reception so no good if you struggle with stairs.

Room and bathroom were cramped but very functional and who goes to Amsterdam to hang out in the room anyway? Bed super comfortable, service friendly and efficient, very quiet except for the church bells every quarter. Breakfast nice, important to know the stairs up are steep and long.
Marc, 10-night trip

Look out for the vertiginous stairs.

A very unique and quirky hotel. I found the room to be very clean and tidy, however it was very small and didn't need the second bed in it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Be warned that if you struggle to climb stairs then this isn't the hotel for you.

10/10 Exceptional

Wonderful little hotel right in the middle of the city. Stairs to the front desk could be a challenge for some, like me, but the staff moved our room from the 4th to the 1st floor. They carried our luggage to and from the room. That alone is 5* for me! Breakfast is included and the croissants are hot and fresh. Price vs. value is on target and a bargain price. Highly recommended.

Cute hotel right on the canal. Rooms are small but comfortable (typical for Europe, I think). Beds are small, but the room has a nice desk and a nice bathroom. Very convenient to restaurants and museum sites. Tram station is just a few steps away from the door. Yes, there are a lot of stairs ! (typical for hotels in this area). The staff was wonderful and very helpful! They went out of their way; for example, gave us breakfast early when we had to catch the train early.

Beautiful old building - very convenient to walk to Old Square and tram service to other parts of the city. Staff will assist with luggage up the VERY steep stairs. While the hotel was quaint, I was at the street side and it was quite noisy. Suggest earplugs just in case. The morning breakfast is quite sparse - croissant, bread, apple & coffee/tea/OJ. Very good, not a huge selection. Overall, I was pleased with the value for the money spent.

Nadia Hotel was in the perfect location for walking to key sites in Amsterdam. Also, the price was reasonable. The steep climb to the second floor is typical of older Amsterdam small hotels in the historic district. The room was very small, but we spent little time there. Still, the bed is against the wall on one side and one person has to climb around a bit to go to the toilet in the middle of the nights. The room could have been two feet wider. Still, the breakfast was good with great croissants. The people at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

When we opened the door, we sighed because we saw two flights of very steep stairs and we knew we couldn’t carry our suitcases up those stairs. We left our bsgs at the door, climbed the stairs and checked in. The clerk sent a man to bring our bags up and he did so immediwtoey. Beyond the stairs, the entire staff was as good as it gets. The room was a bit small but they upgraded us to a canal view. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was fine. Breakfast was typical of a European continental breakfast . We walked to all sights we wanted to see. The Omarion was excellent and public transport is right out the door. Very happy with our stay.
Stewart, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Stairs very steep (staff took our bags to our room on arrival) as we were 4 flights of stairs up (no lift). Room was clean, had to remove plastic mattress protector as couldn’t get comfy (fine after). Asked for another pillow and it wasn’t no trouble at all. Food was very basic, toast, yogurt and croissants. Only fruit was apples (would have liked more variety). Good value, overall stay ok. I would stay again as the staff lovely and room was clean & warm. Wouldn’t pay extra for breakfast again though as not enough variety.

Many mistakes for our Check in, they weren’t ready at 2pm as the reservation indicated, at 3:15pm still not ready. Our reservation was with a double bed room and at first they gave us two twin beds together, nobody wants to sleep with their couple with a gap between beds as teenagers. We had to change rooms. Noisy surroundings. Not friendly lady in the staff.
Melisa, 2-night trip

We wanted to stay in a quirky Dutch hotel and this was definitely the right place to choose. On arrival the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. That just makes a holiday get off to a good start. And they very kindly upgraded is to a canal view room which was an unexpected bonus. The hotel was lovely and clean. The breakfast was busy but that is a reflection of how popular the hotel is and how it offers great value for money. Hotel Nadia is incredibly well located. All places we wanted to go to were accessible by foot. And the Anne Frank House was literally a few minutes away almost across the road. On our last day it was no trouble, it was no trouble to store our cases as we did a final wander around. Yes we were made to feel like very welcome guests and nothing was too much for th le kid and professional staff. Thank you Hotel Nadia . I highly recommend you.

4/10 Fair

The hotel is located in a beautiful building, in a very convenient area of Amsterdam; however, the rooms were very very small and by the time you add your luggage, my husband and I were climbing over each other. The sink in the bathroom is similar to an airplane washroom sink. I couldn't wash my face without splashing water everywhere. The stairs are steep and narrow (which is characteristic of the city) but made it difficult and scary to carry our luggage up and down (no elevators). I would not consider the room rate to be cheap. For that money, I would probably try to find other accommodations for the next visit. I would be willing to pay more for a more comfortable room.
Erika, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Latterlig mikro hotell.
